Formerly Barbara worked as a tax accountant in a small Maryland firm, and then earned her C.P.A. license and became the Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded manufacturing firm in New York. After moving to Michigan in 1987 she started and operated two small retail businesses prior to going into real estate in 1989.
